Maple Class had a fantastic time celebrating European Languages Day today!

Investigating friction
In Science today the children investigated how friction plays a part in movement. They investigated different materials to see which one had the most friction.
Trench building
We are learning about the living conditions in the trenches. The children were able to create their own trench fit for soldiers.
Sewing skills.
In DT we are making toys using our sewing skills. We are using a blanket stitch to sew our toys together and a running stitch and cross stitch to add details to our designs.
