Image of Easter gardens

This Easter, our EYFS and KS1 children embarked on a special project to create their very own Easter Gardens, using natural materials found right in our outdoor classroom. The hands-on activity not only sparked their creativity but also provided a meaningful way to reflect upon the Easter story.

In the spirit of renewal and growth, the children gathered items such as twigs, stones, flowers, soil and leaves to build miniature gardens that represented key elements of the Easter story. They thoughtfully crafted representations of the cross, the tomb, and the rolling stone, while learning about the themes of hope, new life, and resurrection.
