Class Three created Maya inspired artwork using natural materials like feathers, sticks and pine cones.
Year Six Takeover
Thank you to all the Year Six children who planned and delivered some wonderful Christmas activities for the rest of the school.
We had cookie decorating, colouring competitions, card making, and Christmas themed games.
Cooking
The children adapted a spaghetti bolognese recipe, then using some new skills prepared and cooked together. Well done children, it smelled great!

Amazing performance by the whole school, led by our Class Three children.
Blind food tasting
In preparation for designing their own recipes, the children tested different sauces, looking at texture, flavour and the look of them.
St Andrews Day
The school enjoyed a service led by Rev John Grace celebrating the life and achievements of St Andrew.
Football with class 2
Today we joined with Class 2 for our football session, practising passing, shooting and dribbling.
Poppy wreath making
This week our children made poppy wreaths for Remembrance Day
Water filtration!
I gave the children a challenge, to turn muddy water clear by only using equipment they can find in my classroom.
Each team was given a set of beakers, household items and a test tube to collect their filtered water in.
No water was consumed during this experiment.

Amazing Everyday
Each group had to create their very own 'Amazing Everyday' installation sculpture using items from around the school.
Collaborating, the children were able to bring their ideas to life!
Installation art: Space and perspective
Inspired by the artists Cai Guo-Qiang, the children used a range of techniques to create their own miniature installation art space. By using tea bag splatter, glitter explosions and a few brush flicks, they were able to create a mood within their box.
