In Maple Class, the children have been exploring how paper can be transformed from something flat into something fantastically three-dimensional!
Using simple paper strips, the children experimented with bending, folding, twisting, spiralling and zigzagging to create exciting shapes and textures. They carefully overlapped and layered their pieces onto card, discovering how to make their artwork stand tall, pop out and move in different directions.
It was wonderful to see the children planning their designs, adapting their ideas and showing real perseverance as they created their 3D masterpieces. Each piece is completely unique — full of creativity, imagination and bold artistic choices.
Maple Class proved that with a little twist and a clever fold, paper can become something truly spectacular!
