Super Spellers in Maple Class!

Our EYFS children have been busy practising their phonics and writing skills by using picture cards to build and write CVC words.

The children looked carefully at each picture — like dog, hat, sun, and pen — and listened for the sounds they could hear in each word. They then used their phoneme cards and whiteboards to sound out and write the words independently.

Everyone showed brilliant concentration and growing confidence in hearing and writing sounds. We are so proud of our super spellers and how hard they are working in phonics!
