Grooving with Graphemes!

Reception have been busy consolidating their phonics learning this week through some exciting games!

The children moved around the hall while the music played - then, when the music stopped, they quickly jumped onto a spot and picked up the grapheme card. Everyone had a turn reading the grapheme and saying the phoneme our loud for their friends to hear.

It was wonderful to see so much confidence, movement and enthusiasm as the children showed off what they’ve learned in phonics. A fantastic way to make learning active, engaging, and full of smiles!
