Poetry in Motion: Senses in Action

To wrap up our week of poetry, the children in Class One put on an incredible performance of their nature senses poems! After exploring the outdoors on a welly walk at Forest School, they crafted poems full of vibrant sensory details.

The final lesson saw our young poets perform their poems in small groups with so much expression, actions and lots of enthusiasm. The children showed our school value of koinonia when working together and sharing ideas the create fabulous poetry performances.

This was a delightful celebration of creativity and teamwork, and the children’s love for language and drama truly shone through!
