This week in Design and Technology, Class One finished their exciting project of creating a special chair for Baby Bear! Using recycled materials and paper, the children designed and constructed their very own chairs, all while exploring concepts of stability and creativity. The children demonstrated our school value of Koinonia by working together, sharing tools and tips to refine their creations.
After building their chairs, it was time for the ultimate test: could they hold a teddy bear? The excitement in the classroom was palpable as each chair was evaluated. Some designs wobbled a bit, while others stood strong, proving their worth as Baby Bear’s new throne! As the children reflected on their designs, they left with a sense of accomplishment and newfound skills in design thinking.
We can’t wait to see what our young innovators will create next!
