In music we learnt about how the pentatonic scale is made up of 5 notes. We practised some pentatonic scales on our glockenspiel.
Making our own paper
What an amazing art lesson we had today! We learnt all about how Ancient Egyptians made paper out of papyrus. We made our own paper ready to design our Egyptian scrolls.

Playing games in French

Recognising the main bones in the body
Today, in Science, we are learning to recognise the main bones in the body. We had to hunt the bones around the classroom then measure them and order the sizes. Which is the smallest bone in the body?
English- Conscience alley
In English, we used a Drama technique called ‘conscience alley’. Children got into role as Heracles from our new Narrative text, ‘The 12 Labours of Heracles’ and walked through the alleyway of children. As they pass through, children offered Heracles words of wisdom to help him in his quest. We…
